French Toast with Grilled Bacon and Bananas

8 slices white bread (best if bread is a little on the stale side)
4 eggs
1/3 cups cream
4 bacon, grilled to suit
4 bananas
maple syrup
butter, for cooking
icing sugar, for dusting

1) Peel and plit bananas lengthwise. Dust with icing sugar and gently rub in a little butter to help them caramelise. Place onto a flat baking tray that will fit under your grill and cook until they are golden and soft but still holding their shape. ... [ for more, click full recipe ]
