2lb venison, cubed
2 large onions, sliced
salt
pepper
1 tbsp Hungarian paprika
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup tomato puree or 1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup red wine or ruby port

Cut meat into bite-sized pieces. Dredge in mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Brown in oil and butter. Add onions and garlic, and brown them. Add wine, tomato puree and paprika. Simmer until tender (1 1/ ... [ for more, click full recipe ]
